Pong dog is in a lot of pain today, it came on suddenly. We’ve given him a dose of gabapentin and have a vet appointment at 4:30. He’s doing that thing dogs do where he hides facing away from the room in a corner and he’s trembling. This is impossible.

Watching your pets get old is terrible. They never stop being cute, happy little puppies, but their bodies just start giving up on them. Chaotically happy to see you and gasping for air bc their hearts can no longer cope with the excitement. I hate this part.
