I am conflicted about getting a Lomi (food recycler). On one hand nature decomposes without the need for an expensive machine to heat/grind up stuff. But we need a new approach to composting, so machine it is. So far every time it runs we marvel at the results like it’s Christmas morning

Bird folks - do downy woodpeckers nest on the early side compared to other birds? Do they tend to have multiple clutches a year? Is there a good resource that covers these sorts of things for common birds?

People who are talking about young people needing to learn AI because they’ll get left behind have it exactly opposite. People need to figure out how to navigate the world expertly without AI so that then AI becomes a really helpful tool.

The fact that our required syllabus is not branded is a missed opportunity. Seriously, it is THE most boring looking document I have seen in a while (at least it is using accessible headings, which I was skeptical they were going to use)
