Inflation sucks. We used to make fun of our grandparents for being like “candy was 5 cents blah blah” but honestly? I used to be able to get a movie ticket for $5 and a manicure for $10 & now it costs $57 for 3 tix to Spider-Man & a manicure is $30. I get it.

I haven’t seen The Odyssey yet, but this weekend 14yo & I watched an adaptation of another classic: the 2015 BBC version of And Then There Were None. It was mostly faithful to the book, and we found it well cast and appropriately creepy.

Orcas are known for ramming prey (and sometimes yachts) but this is the first evidence of them doing it with so much force that the target disintegrates on impact 🧪
