One point that was brought up and is very relevant: In addition to having normal timing, these abilities now use the stack and thus can be targeted, copied, countered, responded to, etc. Selvala can now benefit from Illusionist's Bracers.

There has been update to the definition of what is and isn't a mana ability with the newest version of the Comprehensive Rules: An activated ability is no longer a mana ability if its cost or effect moves a card to or from a library. Selvala 1.0, Chromatic Sphere, and Millikin no longer count. 1/

Autumn Willow is another Homelands glow-up. I especially love another returning artist, Margaret Organ-Kean. It's an especially flavorful card, as Autumn is rebuilding the mana of Ulgrotha.

Istvan is a weird case because technically this is his first Legendary card. The Dark came out two months after Legends and Legendary Creatures wouldn't become a staple of Magic until a year later in Ice Age. I'm still going to count "Uncle Istvan" as his first card in this unique circumstance.

Mystery Booster Commander Edition Legends Thread! While Nivea isn't technically Akroma (instead, Akroma is made in her image), she does create an Akroma token, which I've previously counted. This will make Akroma's 4th card (5th if you count Karona, more on her later).

I included the amulet she gives to Yawgmoth to summon her as well. I designed that as an adornment on her forehead, to symbolically represent the vulnerability she has in giving it to him and trusting him. It sits in the very place that he wounds her in his brutal betrayal later in the book.
