I think everyone should make TTRPG characters for fun, even if they're never used in an actual game. Making a TTRPG character (D&D, Pathfinder, Fabula Ultima, ...) is the best way to create an OC: it opens a whole world of possibilities in your brain. You now have your own little guy. It's yours.

This is what people mean by AI is theft. Someone I know later found out an artist (16k followers) they got a commision from uses AI and now they don't have funds to commish me or another artist they like. Not only does the slop machine steal art, these scammers directly steal work from real artists

The vibe coded recomps are scary to me because more and more people are spreading them around before they can be properly investigated. It's only a matter of time before malware is put into one of these disguising itself as a mario 3 recomp and making headlines.
