There is currently a public consultation open until 18th August on #CarersAllowance. It's currently £86.45 per week. Many carers are forced to give up work when a family member gets ill. Caring can be 24/7. You can't live on £85 pw. For a full time carer, CA should be set at minimum wage.

You really do need to take care of yourself too. This goes out to all my friends who are finding themselves with new caring duties in middle age
