My spouse introduces me at parties as a "youtuber" 🇰🇷🇵🇷 http://youtube.com/legalkimchi. he/him

So i know about weaponized incompetence but I feel like my spouse uses weaponized cuddling. She will sit and call our children to her to cuddle while watching a movie and then ask me to fetch/do something. When I give her side-eye she points to the mountain of children on her and say "I cant move!"

I hate to be the legal nerd on this, but I don't think you folks know what the term "restorative justice" means... Because it isn't about whether or not people watch a youtube channel...

Starting a new job, i have to go through all these training videos and modules. I see a lot of them saying "any further questions? Reach out to legal!" But doctor... I am the great clown Legal...

I’ve been making videos for almost 7 years now & I have never, not once, earned the minimum taxable income. In my best year, I still made less than half the minimum wage (all revenue streams including Patreon). I was really hoping this one would bring in some cash before the slow season 💀

Channel 4 copyright claimed my review of their ADHD documentary. Silencing disabled critics etc and whatever.. I’ve disputed it (like it’s quite clearly fair use) but they have 30 days to drag it out. If you’d like to buy me a coffee to get through this there’s a link in my bio 😩

One thing I think needs to happen to develop better conversations on ttrpg games is being able to separate the setting and flavor text of a game from how the mechanics work to effect a game's intended emotions Just because a game says its about something doesnt mean the mechanics reinforce that

What system works the best for the idea of regular people caught in mysteries and or horror? And I mean system not setting. Call of cthulhu comes to mind as a system I dont like, but whose setting i love. I loved cortex classic for something like this...

Im re-watching midnight mass (mike flannigan netflix show) for spooky season and I cant help but think of 2 things: 1) this is one of the most accurate portrayals of Catholicism in media and, 2) this would make an awesome trrpg adventure.

I've read studies showing that 24-61% of men self reported committing sexual assault of some kind. It's staggering. Nearly every woman in my life has experienced it, and im terrified as a parent that it is inevitable that my children will experience it. "Not committing sexual assault" is a low bar

Maybe its just me, but the best time to watch the lord of the rings extended edition trilogy is November. Its not a Christmas movie. But right after a month of spooky season and Halloween is the perfect time to get some second breakfast watch people walk.

Ok... so not going to Belgium until January. In related news, I have a new job! (Day job lawyer stuff, not youtube stuff) Hopefully this leads to my life going back to normal. And getting a video out soon.

It's weird being so old ive seen decades old African American phrasing be coopted into "modern slang" in my lifetime. Even just as a non black person with black friends, seeing non black people say 'unc' will always feel weird to me.

Bizarre that some dems are choosing to focus on throwing trans people under the bus as the strategy. That isnt what pushes the needle. The reality is, war in iran, gas prices, and econ being generally crap is pushing trad republican areas to the left. Trans rights dont need to be discarded

Very excited to be moving forward with Vineyard under this partnership with @brokendoorgames.bsky.social ✨💕

Some used the phrase "Mutatis Muntandis" in a contract I reviewed at work and it annoyed the crap outta me. There is no reason to use latin in an contract. I havent heard that phrase in over 10 years. In fact, ive never seen it in a professional context, only law school It is just so pretentious...
