Apparently, I have to start packing a "just in case" outfit for funerals for any travel lasting more than 2 weeks. Sadly, this is not the first time I've had to change plans mid trip to attend one, and while I have lots of black clothing, I don't have appropriate attire for this.

Recently, a woman guilted myself and another passenger to sit in the same row with her children (ages 5 and 10, approx), instead of across the aisle from them. I was able to get another window seat in a different row, and made multiple comments about having paid for assigned seats. She got the hint.

I don’t see the problem. As a FA… Book the seats together if you need to sit together that bad lol. People book their seats for specific reasons and if you don’t choose yours don’t feel entitled to theirs 🤷🏽‍♀️ I say no to switching when I’m not working all the time lol

Masked ICE thug just casually shooting pepper spray at a few old ladies standing peacefully on the sidewalk filming them in uptown Manhattan today. Just because these monsters are quieter now doesn’t mean they’re not still out there violating people.

Every digital platform is acting up right now, from the time on my Macbook to logging into any site. Is this AWS and Oracle shitting the bed, or is Mercury slapping us during Retrograde?

I'm having a great time in Aix, completely disassociating from the fact that I lost a loved one the day before I left. I am really not ready for the grief bomb that is going to hit me when I get back home and can process.

You don't have to answer the door for the Feds. Do not voluntarily talk to the Feds. If they have a warrant signed by an actual judge, then they can do precisely what the warrant says. But DO NOT TALK TO THE FEDS. Do not answer the door. If you're arrested, your only words are "I want a lawyer."

ICE observers in Minneapolis have begun receiving visits from FBI agents sent to intimidate them. A close friend-combat vet, mother, no criminal record-who was a volunteer observer during the ICE crisis, had a visit and was threatened for taking photos and videoed, claiming that filming was illegal.

I'm not a pro-ban person when it comes to substances but it remains beyond insane that 7-OH is being marketed and sold like it's 5 Hour Energy. This shit is not normal "kratom" and it's not an energy supplement. It's fucking Oxy and if you get addicted to it you will get dopesick.

There is a pharmacist on youtube that has gas station pills tested in a mass spectrometer. Every single one of them is some controlled drug combo, it's insane.

Tobacco companies spent decades honing marketing strategies, flavor engineering, and processing tech that addicted consumers to cigarettes. In the 1980s, they bought large food firms and deployed these same strategies to sell more ultra-processed foods. www.npr.org/2026/06/09/n...

Big Tobacco hooked us on ultra-processed foods. It might teach us how to cut back

Research published in the American Journal of Public Health details the connection between ultra-processed foods and the tobacco industry when it comes to production, strategy and marketing.
