This turned into a huge session full of men lecturing me about just what women cooked and wore and did in 1950 compared to today, and how right they (the men arguing) are. Men are exhausting in their arrogance paired with ignorance.
Shameful and Evil Leopard on Parade@leopardonparade.bsky.social · 2d agoI find this hard to believe, especially since, in 1950, men and women still wore hats, women wore gloves and pantyhose, and many men wore 3-piece suits. There was also a much bigger gap between dressy and casual.
It's sort of wild that the US president declares war and announces peace deals 3-4 times a week now and it's just...barely even news any more? Could it be unhealthy? Who can say!

If you go back to the era when USAID was being defunded, you’ll see that everyone thought this was happening, including Elon. That’s why his belief that nobody died from USAID cuts is most likely denial. There’s a theory going around that it’s because he WANTED them to die and it doesn’t ring true.

I’ve been yelling about it this all year. Municipalities still act like these are unfortunate incidents instead of what they are. They’re attacks on critical infrastructure. We’ve underinvested in modernizing essential systems and infrastructure while degrading cybersecurity.
