Reducing the Size of the Board of Immigration Appeals
AGENCY: Executive Office for Immigration Review, Department of Justice.
ACTION: Interim final rule with request for comments.
SUMMARY: This interim final rule (“IFR”) amends the Department of Justice (“Department”)
regulations relating to the organization of the Board of Immigration Appeals (“Board” or “BIA”)
by reducing the Board to 15 members.
