OTD 20 years ago, TV on the Radio released Return to Cookie Mountain. I was living in LA, and the grunion run was happening at Venice Beach. It was surreal to see all the fish flopping around on the sand looking for a mate, and this album's desolation felt apt as I gaped around. #brodys2006
