At the risk of ruining my mentions, I want to remind my centrist friends that “vote blue no matter who” also applies when Dems nominate a leftist. We need to be single focused on winning back the Senate. We cannot do that without Michigan.

“Vote Blue no matter who” cuts both ways. If he becomes the candidate, then Democrats need to lineup behind him and support him. If progressives can line up behind center-right candidates when they are the nominee, then the rest of you can do the same.

The media's takeaway from an El-Sayed win is the same as it would have been from a Stevens win, and the same as it will be if El-Sayed wins the general, or if he loses it: everyone, no matter who they are, needs to take several steps to the right.

Oil is extracted, burned, and its energy is over. Lithium is mined, becomes a battery, and its energy storage capability can be reused for years. Burning fossil fuels doesn't make any sense anymore.

Have they announced Mitch McConnell's death yet? They've run out the clock on replacing him before the beginning of the next Congress, so what's holding them up? 🤷‍♂️ The good thing is that there will be one less MAGA vote in the Senate until January, when KY sends another MAGAt to take his place.
