It is interesting to compare the results of the 1928 presidential election with that of 1932. In the former, Hoover won all but seven of the states. In the latter, he lost all but six. In those days the political polarity of the electoral map was pretty much opposite from what it is today.

268 of the 273 Republicans who were in Congress a year ago to be exact (98.2%). They’ll do anything/everything Trump tells them to. In many cases out of pure fear. When you vote for a Republican for Congress, you’re giving Trump permission to do whatever he wants. “In fact, Donnie - surprise us!”

(This is something I put together a couple years ago when I was posting on the old place).
The Democratic primary in CO-01 (Denver) on Tuesday was revealing. Diana DeGette didn’t lose because she wasn’t progressive enough. She lost because she wasn’t aggressive enough. In 30 years in Congress she’s been very progressive on the issues but hasn’t shown the passion voters are looking for.
It is now 124 days until the midterms (Nov 3). It is also 124 days since Trump, acting in sync with Netanyahu, attacked Iran (Feb 28). I think of this as the crossover point. From now on there will be fewer days till the midterms than from the start of the Iran war.
This man, who I understand to be a 17 year veteran, likely just threw away his military career. He is a patriot of the first order.
