British citizens abroad have been let down by successive governments, each of which has drafted elections legislation and had the chance to fix voting from abroad. Both the Tories and Labour have chosen not to. Follow the link below to see how you can help our campaign 👇

We have proposed a number of improvements, used in many countries abroad, including 🖨️ Print at home ballots (🇺🇸) 🗳️ Blank ballot papers (🇨🇦) 🏢 Using embassies (🇫🇷🇷🇴🇭🇺 and many more) All were dismissed. Write to your MP ahead of next week's debate.

Voting from abroad is broken. Help us secure your rights. A new law currently before Parliament fails millions of British citizens living overseas by ignoring critical flaws in the system. We are campaigning for a fair solution, and we need your help.

While you struggle with the cost of living, soaring energy bills and rising weekly food costs, one man has made a fortune from the Brexit deal. 10 years on, do you feel better off?

Nigel Farage smiling under the headline "Farage: I was given £5m as a reward for brexit"

and the quote:
"I can do what I want with it. I can put it on the horses.
I can spend it on Ferraris if I want. That’d be entirely up to me."

10 years on, the very same politicians who caused the Brexit mess say nobody can dare try to fix it. We say enough. It's time for a bold new deal with Europe to make Britain safer, richer and stronger. Watch our new film here ⬇️ youtu.be/ihdhBLT6YYM

After ten years of the Conservatives’ Brexit experiment, the British public have had enough. Nigel Farage pocketed a £5 million ‘reward’ for the damage he’s caused, while the rest of us are paying for it dearly. It’s time to end the chaos and fix our broken relationship with Europe.

Quietly introduced passport rule changes left British dual nationals locked out of the UK. Their own country. At the last election, only half of overseas postal ballots made it back in time to be counted. So they can’t vote for a government that might fix it either Help our campaign to fix this👇

UK pensioner: £9,615 a year. British pensioner in Australia: £4,381. Frozen. They could vote in a Government that promises to fix it. Except at the last election, only 6% of postal ballots from Australia got back in time to be counted. You can't fix what you can't vote on. We need your help, see👇

One voter in France received their postal vote the day AFTER the election. Only 48% of overseas postal ballots were returned in time at the last General Election. Half our postal votes in the bin. The Government's response? Start distributing ballots 3 days earlier. That's no fix. That's a shrug.

Labour are finally waking up to what we’ve been saying for a decade. We’re glad they’re coming round but now is the time for action. With worsening relations with the US we need to strengthen ties with our neighbours, and start the journey to rejoining the EU. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

"People must trust that their voting voice matters". Well said, @mp4stratford.bsky.social ! Thank you for raising in parliament issues affecting overseas voting. The new elections act is a chance to fix it with: 📮 Better postal ballots 🌍 Overseas constituencies 🏢 Using embassies and consulates

Some good news that the government may allow expired passports for dual nationals to prove they're British, but it's not enough. It's wrong that some British citizens will find it harder and more expensive than non-citizens to enter the UK under the new rules.

The voices of thousands of overseas voters weren't heard due to postal delays at the last General Election. Yet the government has proposed a new law with no improvements for Brits abroad: ❌ No postal vote improvements ❌ No dedicated overseas representation ❌ No automatic voter registration

🚨 URGENT INFORMATION FOR BRITISH DUAL CITIZENS TRAVELLING TO THE UK 🚨 From February 25th, dual citizens must use a UK passport or have a costly certificate to enter. You may otherwise be denied boarding or face delays as the automatic system may not recognise your rights.

This desperately needs fixing. Imagine having to live under that uncertainty in the last month of being in a country of sanctuary for 3 years. It's entirely unnecessary to have such a restriction, and bureaucracy winning over human decency.

Ukrainians have to wait until their 3 year visa is in its final 28 days to ask for an 18 month extension, which impedes jobs & renting when there are two or three months left on it www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

On Wednesday, I’m presenting a bill for an 🇪🇺EU-UK Youth Mobility Scheme🇬🇧 Labour must step up and back this—it’s time for action. Young people have lost out on so much due to the Tories' awful Brexit deal—not least the chance to study, work, and experience life in Europe.
