#RPGaDAY2026 Day 4: Charm, Intellect, Full of Grace - An enjoyable moment of charm gone right or wrong? In the Paranoia oneshot I ran for Origins, one of the NPCs has Charm. During one of my practice games, a player immediately shot her in the face when she used it. There were consequences.

People should be able to tell the difference between "Good Books" and "Fun Reads". There are many books that are objectively NOT Good Books, but they're Fun Reads, and there are many books that are NOT Fun Reads, but are very Good Books They're not mutually exclusive, but they're different criteria

This is totally a normal setup and definitely not me being paranoid about inviting bad luck onto my death save d20. (Dice blessing’s from @thegeekpreacher.bsky.social and timeout chair‘s a freebie from the @lorelink.com Origins booth, Lawful Good pin’s from Dbl Feature, healing potion was a gift.)

A 20-sided die rests upon a 3D printed Time Out chair. The visible faces of the die are two white skulls, two red hearts, and a golden potion. In front of the chair is a green Lawful Good pin, and a green mushroom is attached to the back of the chair with a wire. There is a dice blessing to the right of the chair. Left of the chair is a glass bottle half filled with red resin, the other half filled with red 4-sided dice, that is labeled “Healing Potion For What Ails Ye” with a heart.
