Every global "Tech4Good" event, every meeting about digital "souvereignity", every summit about innovation has EA folks there poisoning the conversation with their eugenicist, corporatist, colonialist drivel. And politics is eating it up.
tante@tante.cc · 4w agoPeople really underestimate the danger the "Effective Altruism" movement is to our global political landscape. With all the money they have access to they get to buy seats and every table where bigger narratives are formed pushing their inhumane politics.
Yes, it is disappointing that even among progressive actors, there is often no political response or awareness of how the Covid pandemic alters lives. Disability and chronic illness need to be part of intersectionality. The attacks on the welfare states target these groups disproportionally.

Yes to the below ⬇️ please also remember the politics of Karp and other tech clowns, whenever you see their AI „prognoses“ repeated in the media and elsewhere. They are not scientists, but the worst kind of ideologues and their „software“ should have no place in democracies.

Infektionsschutz ist nicht nur für besonders vulnerable Personengruppen wichtig - er geht uns alle an. Aus aktuellem Anlass: Wer Krankschreibungen erschwert und Anreize schafft, krank zu arbeiten, fördert Infektionen. Und damit auch vermeidbare Langzeitfolgen wie ME/CFS.

Allerdings liegt der Fokus fast ausschließlich auf Wirtschaft, Staat und Innovation. Zivilgesellschaft und Gemeinwohl muss man mit der Lupe suchen.

Gedanken aufschreiben, wenn es eigentlich nichts mehr zu sagen gibt, wenn es unzählige male schon so aufgezeigt und ausformuliert wurde. Wenn die Fähigkeit und/oder die Bereitschaft offenbar einfach nicht besteht dieser fundamentalen Herausforderung für unsere Demokratie angemessen zu begegnen.
Seit Monaten hat sich die CDU/CSU rhetorisch und politisch radikalisiert. Bei jedem weiteren Schritt nach rechts wurde gehofft, damit eine Grenze erreicht zu haben. Am 29.01.2025 wurde durch Merz die Hand zum Faschismus ausgestreckt. Was für eine Schande für diese Partei, den Bundestag, Deutschland.
