The Bestiary Sketchbook worked out great with Mixam- 96 pages of sketches and doodles selected from across the last decade. There are a bunch of rare deep cuts in there that have never seen the internet! It was fun putting this together to see how some things change and some just stay the same 😅

I really think "Dr. Mario" was onto something. Every action platformer franchise should have an explicable spinoff about the lead character engaging in some occupation which requires a professional certification they clearly do not possess. I want a game about Crash Bandicoot operating a forklift.

Counting fingers is fun, but one of my favourite pitfalls of trying to pass off AI porn as original work is most LLMs' bizarre inability to render a plausible bathroom. Like, why is the toilet paper dispenser THERE? Why is there a urinal halfway up the wall? Why is the shower stall 18 inches wide?

It's Day 18 and I'm back! Birthday break is over and I'm back in it. Today I followed the Drawtober Folk Horror list by @kaseygifford.bsky.social with the prompt Old God. This connects to Day 5 because this is the symbol of the entity encountered in the dark in between seconds. Or of It's Champion?

Two glowing red circles, one nested inside the other. Radiating from the center point are eight coiling, knotted white snakes. Their eyes glow red. Four of the eight have red glowing tongues that extend impossibly far, also coiling and knotting. The tongues each end with a long thin spike. This is supposed to be the symbol of an ancient god, forgotten and left to sleep. I'm going to tell the alt text readers a secret though: it isn't. Not exactly at least. The snakes as they are would knot with each other. They're meant to pass over and under each other without ever creating knots. This difference causes much difficulty for the one who had it ritually tattooed onto their back against their will.

Today, instead of 1 WIP, I've got a full triptych! For Day 5, I did #Horrortober26 by @gillyvor.co with the prompt Maw of the Void. These 3 are a moment between the seconds of my OC's life. It can be seen by any who glimpse her eyes. The sight invariably drives them temporarily mad. #oc

Malevolent demon does the whole "steal your body and leave your soul trapped in a jar" thing, but voluntarily gives it back after like an hour because it's never heard of the concept of chronic tinnitus before and what the FUCK is that NOISE.
