The EHRC guidance does not apply to workplaces, and trans people are not criminalised for using any toilet in the UK. But the whole point of this - as with Section 28 back in the 1980s - is to intimidate people. Don't give into that fear.

Just a reminder that: - this isn't for workplaces and if your work is trying to implement it scare them over discrimination claims - the onus is on the service provider, not the service user to comply - the code *itself* says enforcement of toilet facilities is unworkable and low priority

Despite a few minor story inconsistency quirks, "Spiderman: Brand New Day" was my fave live-action Spidey movie. It genuinely got me in the feels with sentiments around mutants, monstrosity & memory. Also helped that Frank & Yelena are two of my most loved Marvel characters (alongside Bucky ofc).🕸️

Honestly what writer doesn't? Even the most well-adjusted, existentially comfortable character has to go through some shit for there to be a story in the first place. Though I agree I often lay the trauma on HARD, which can leave permanent mental & physical scars. These characters I love the most. 💖

The fact they had full-scale animatronic Bugs to get the correct spine-crushing flailing from stunt actors is so freakin' cool! Layering CG in combo with physical FX is a real film-making sweet-spot to me - yes, more costly & labour intensive than pure CG, but overall more convincing too.

Recently, the most ghost-filled narrative I read was R.F. Kuang's 'Katabasis'. Technically it wasn't just a ghost story, it was a full-on journey to the underworld tale. But there were plenty of ghosts featured in the various realms of the afterlife (Elspeth is defo best dead girl). #13MorbidMondays
