I met with a coworker on 7/23 where one of the things we discussed is he would send me some files so I could coordinate with them to send him back some formatting instructions for others. The next week on 7/28 he sent a message to someone else asking about the formatting instructions. 1/4

Arizona courts can't compel clergy to report abuse according to current law. The law can be rewritten. The church can also choose, as a matter of policy, to report abuse to authorities in all cases. They do in locations where the law compels them to. There's no doctrinal reason they cannot.

I saw yesterday that some right-wing outlets were running stories about me, which I’m used to. But this time I’m going to say something about it, because these were framed to imply that I was aligned with their own transphobia. ⬇️

Every time Hank shows up on main I look to the comments and quotes to see if someone mentions the knitting thing and very rarely am I disappointed.

Rip Carol Lynn Pearson. Her work has gotten me through some pretty rough patches.

Pearson’s book The Ghost of Eternal Polygamy infuriated yet healed something deep inside of me when I was drowning in sorrow after leaving the church and starting to move forward and deconstruct and reclaim my life. I will always be grateful that she was willing to stand up and speak out.

I agree this is good, but you're not going to get rescued by Harrison Ford in his helicopter with the attitude of knowing your limits and when to turn around to go home.
