A basic tip for riding Metro: always let people get off the train (or bus or elevator) before you get on! What other Metro etiquette do you recommend?

The L.A. City Mobility Plan calls for bike lanes on both Van Nuys Blvd and Terra Bella St. But anti-bike Metro/LADOT folks decided to remove existing bike lanes on Van Nuys, and substitute them with shorter, unprotected ones on nearby Terra Bella.
