In a college sociology class in the late 1980s I was assigned a Marxist analysis of education that argued that the US education system is designed primarily to produce efficient workers for the labor market. And now Trump’s Department of Education is just tweeting it out.

Reading the full opinion, it seems to me that in their effort to uphold the law, the conservatives on the 11th Circuit construed the drag ban so narrowly that its probably doesn't apply to any actual drag show

Oh, it's bad. He doesn't say Blanche is pulled, but, he does. I think the only fair reading of this is that Trump is not willing to let Blanche back down on the audit immunity.

I have seen this in so many places, I have no idea why police no longer care about enforcing traffic laws, it's bizarre! They're driving more than anyone! They have kids! Yet they don't care. Like do they get paid more dealing with crashes, the bloody the better?

Astonishing. RFK Jr. adds 8 members to a 6 member FDA advisory panel. 6 of them were sellers of peptides, and the 7th a compounding pharmacist. In an 8-6 vote with all 8 votes coming from these new panel members, the panel approved 4 peptides against the objections of FDA scientists.

As a sometimes stancil defender: the mistake he's making is that he's assuming the marginal utility of $1 stays the same between $50k and $1mm. To a poor person the utility of the first thousand dollars is like many orders of magnitude higher than the last thousand.
