another weekend in london this time hanging around the City. definitely want to go back with my film camera and a tripod as we’re getting to that time when everything is getting bleaker

The distortion of the rooms and confusing of the staircase kind of reminds me of the 2020 era of AI images? Where it’d spit out images that look like something until you look closer, and the more you interrogate it the more it looks like nothing at all23mm black and white photo of the Lloyd’s building from street level. The ducting for the building is done on the outside and the whole building looks more like something you’d see in Naoya Hatakeyama’s Lime Works series
