I hope the ongoing moral panic against trans people in the US dies with the Trump administration.
Watching the New York Times become, not for the first time, an organ of bigotry and disinformation, seeing this happen in slow motion due to the influence of a tiny handful of hateful, arrogant twits like Sulzberger and Pamela Paul, is as frustrating as any experience imaginable. But we will win.

Mike Stabile@mikestabile.bsky.social · 10mo agoCongress is attempting to fast track KOSA and more than a dozen bills that would restrict internet access, censor speech and increase surveillance under the guise of protecting children. Committee hearings begin tomorrow.
As always you can call and protest this stuff if you'd like. Getting a wide base of callers will have a higher impact than a small group of callers that call over and over. You can also push back on false narratives, like that this is about fraud or chargebacks. Or educate critters close to you.
