Me, 3 hours ago: I guess I'll write about the 2005 PSP Ghost in the Shell game and get it out of the way Me, now: I don't think it is necessary to have 2000 words talking about Wolf3D, Doom and the history of 90s FPS games just to say "in an emulator, map the face buttons to the right analog stick"

Really love how some searches on youtube end up with a ton of AI results, and you can't even say "don't show me anything from this piece of shit channel ever again"

Polar Opposites went into the Spring hiatus as a contender for best anime of the year, and sidelining the two main characters for a bit somehow just reinforced that position. I don't think that is supposed to happen.

Given the Waymo display above, this is about the most disingenuous thing that could have been presented in defense of Tesla's approach, but here it is... A low-resolution, single-color, two-dimensional, static image of some points on a plot. Incredible.

You’re not gonna believe what happened today

man, I really should learn to tag screenshots for seasonal events instead of trying to remember where did I had a good one for the Merry Christmas post.

Just do the "Last Week of September" movie at this point. Cast Antony Starr as not-Ronaldo and Rod Stewart as not-Jorge Jesus.

It's almost unfair for every other comedy anime how a thing that has an episode running with the concept of "dying from blue balls" can be in the running for best comedy, but Grand Blue also has an heart, even if it's under layers and layers of carefully assembled abject stupidity (complimentary).

Super Robot Paisen, and it's a show about a super robot going to school. Regular school. Not one with other super robots. A 50ft tall Mechazawa. Everyone treats this as normal.

extremely cursed @animeigo.com release for 2035: Yani Neko with a scratch-and-sniff card.

Hard Work and Guts@bustermachine.bsky.social · 2w ago

One thing we can all agree: Yani Neko would be completely unwatchable with smell-o-vision. But because that was never more than a gimmick, we can appreciate for what it is, an anime about a bunch of girl failures doing their best in a world that doesn't care for them one bit (except the fetishists).

A very simple premise with a production that doesn't take many risks, but solid writing and a two strong leads who bounce well off each other really made Smoking Behind the Supermarket With You one of the stand out shows of the 2026 Summer anime season.

my big surprise of the shows I've picked for the summer season, very good visually and for a hobby show the story occasionally goes into places in the flashbacks. Also teaches you that technical proficiency isn't as big as an hurdle as long as you have the enthusiasm for something.

Season two of the "Draw This, Then Die!" anime has been announced! Season one just finished airing and streams with subs on Crunchyroll. While waiting for s2, you can grab the manga from @sevenseasentertainment.com !

Historical shows often circle around the great figures, even more when the topic is the Mongol Empire and Genghis Khan. Jaadugar takes a different approach by showing this period in time not by focusing on him, but on his sons' wives and a Muslim slave who wants revenge for what was taken from her.

I love how real companies are trying to come up with some business plans that look like they're from the post-dotcom bubble, offering free PC games but it's their versions who were modified to have space for a banner ad built on.

I'm curious now after mulling over some of the famous or well-loved games I haven't played through or not played at all. What are some of yours, peeps? That you might also feel you've missed out on, should have played, or just never caught your interest. One of mine is the OG Legend of Zelda.

Just came up with "Grunge Inner Demon Hunters" and now I need to get depressed again and find someone who can draw.
