The diarrhea lettuce company, Taylor Farms, uses slave labor contracted from the Arizona Dept. of Corrections. The backbreaking labor is often performed by imprisoned Mexican nationals who would be otherwise ineligble to work in the US. They are paid $1.50 an hour.

I may have to update it again tomorrow. This ICE charter flight is following the route for Eastern Europe/Asia removals, which sometimes include third-country removals. Always hate the end of the month surge, this one was the worst.

ICE Flight Monitor@iceflightmonitor.bsky.social · 5d agoUPDATE: After a deportation stop in CAR, the ICE Air flight (EAL8283) has now landed in Accra, Ghana, likely carrying third country nationals from the U.S.
Overnight, this plane flew to Senegal to refuel and has now made its first removal stop, to Sierra Leone. This is very likely the third third-country removal to Sierra Leone.

Sounds like it’s going to go Senegal - Ghana - Central African Republic, with the latter two being third-country removals. At least one of the immigrants being sent to CAR is from Nepal.

Thursday, July 30. Just a horrible day in ICE flights. At least 79 flights on 29 planes. At least 21 removal flights, of which at least 4 were likely third-country removals. ICE flights hit every continent except Australia and Antarctica in one day.
Ameaka Fatima Nkempu, a Johns Hopkins University researcher in public health, was detained by ICE while boarding a domestic flight. She says she is Cameroonian in a Medium article that she authored. As of Thursday morning, the ICE Online Detainee Locator did not list where she was being held.
