Was touch and go whether I'd be able to run today because of hip issues, but managed to complete the York 10k even if I had to kiss my initial target time goodbye. Fingers crossed I can avoid injury next year and improve on the time.

My romantic leads are: Sarah, a burnt out software dev who inherits her grandmother, Ethel's cottage and the job of the local witch that comes with it. Raven, Ethel's former apprentice who had hoped to inherit herself but is instead sent to show Sarah the ropes. (1/2) #SumLuv

Today's round of #TummyOrTrap turned out to be a (thankfully gentle and ineffective) trap.

Attempting my first vegan gluten free cake today in a break from WiP editing. Fingers crossed, though I'm hopeful that even if it is somewhat disastrous, it'll still produce tasty goo.

More gluten free vegan baking experiments, this time with blueberry scones. Gotta say there's something very pleasing to me about the colour of the blueberries oozing out.

Our cats are all obsessed with our neighbour's cat. Every time they see it they run outside or between windows to get the best view like it's a local celebrity.

Finally cool enough again for more vegan gluten free experimenting. Now I've found a cookie recipe that works well I figured I'd try tweaking it for a few different flavours, this time lemon and white chocolate, and triple chocolate.

Working out in the garage, I couldn't help but notice how the knots and grains of the wooden beam here look kind of like a small dog, perpetually judging my efforts whenever I do anything lying on my back.

At least someone is enjoying the warm weather, though I notice even Calliope is sticking to the shade.
