How hard can it be to draw a fucking tree
I'll be drawing birds for donations again this year in addition to my weekly running miles! Details on how to donate for bird illustrations will come later this month. Looking forward to doing this again with you all, the kids need the help more than ever!
Wanna help? Become a Waymaker! We're running, walking, cycling 20,000 miles in September to raise money to get immigrant kids out of detention and back with family. Someone who kayaks to work is dedicating his miles to Waymakers! A salsa dance class is counting steps! It all counts! #BeAWaymaker
Don't forget. Don't mess it up. Crow Country is pretty great, more people should visit this absolutely not haunted abandoned theme park.
Daaaamn. “AI is the asbestos we're shovelling into the walls of our technological society. Our descendants will spend generations digging it out again, and the longer the bubble goes on without popping, the longer it will take to repair the damage." www.thenerve.news/p/cory-docto...

Three days in a row I put on my pants in defiance and give up on them immediately after my morning tea
Cultural genocide is an essential part of genocide. And it has been a favourite tool of the ruSSian naZis since they crawled out of their swamps.

You can upload transparent pngs and have them show up correctly, if you use a third party app. I don't know that *all* third party apps will work but at least some do. You will also get better image quality uploading art/photos through another app, less or even no compression! Just an FYI.
Testing out some image uploading, since BlueSky changed how it serves images a few months ago. Starting with a png file that has a transparent background. This post is from "vanilla" BlueSky, and will probably no longer have a transparent background.

Just so you know, whenever you repost owls into my feed I consider it as if you are personally gently handing the owl in question into my open palms and I want you to know that I am very grateful
Supposed to get into the 100s for the next week here and I'm not looking forward to it so here's a Snowy Owl portrait from a couple years back. Think cold thoughts. 🎨🦉🐡
for this #OwlAwarenessDay let's all remember that one time @franzanth.bsky.social thought he heard an exciting new owl call only for it to turn out to be a bunch of old ladies doing yoga
So far so good! So far Witch in Mongolia makes excellent use of historically grounded slavery and conquest to explore themes of freedom, family, choice and agency It's also very good on the level of emotional pacing and very effective deliberate scenes

I finished this yesterday, and it was terrific. I think funnier and even more beautifully realised than the last one.
It's astonishing to me that The Mermaid Mask has only been out for 2 and a half weeks and we've already got over 2000 reviews on Steam... (and 99% positive!)
Do you ever feel like the world is full of powerful people whose creative expressions are too beautiful and amazing for the human mind to comprehend
