I am going through Bram Stoker’s earliest notes on DRACULA today - they include a list of the powers and features of the Count (then named “Wampyr” before Stoker stumbled on “Dracula”), many of which are never elucidated in the book…

Cool nerdy After Effects thing I learned from this: you can apply Pixel Motion Blur to rotoscoped animation and it totally works. BUT unless it's very subtle, the realistic blur stops it from looking like traditional cel animation and ruins the Roger Rabbity effect.
