Happening today: twin rallies to fix the EU's public procurement rules. Public contracts with private companies must no longer drive a race to the bottom for working. Instead, they must strengthen collective bargaining so that they drive quality services, quality good and quality jobs.

In Paris today, hundreds of cleaners, security guards and food service workers sent a message to Stéphane Séjourné and Europe's leaders: every worker should be covered by collective agreement that guarantees decent pay and conditions. No public contract without collective agreement.
