I’m looking at the prices of everything surging at this point. I’m seeing staples at the grocer go up 20-25% in a week’s time. If you’ve never learned to cook basic meals like beans and rice or vegetable soup, now’s the time to learn… Things are getting bad and will get much worse…

To me 9-11 will always represent America's biggest FAFO moment. Sad and unfortunate as it was.. you can't throw your weight around in the world and not create enemies..you cant let your guard down. The first words out of my mouth as I watched the news was a resigned "... it finally happened.." 😞
I read a piece in "The Guardian" by Jason Burke suggesting that Bin Laden's wider plans failed. As a statement, depending on just how wide his plans were, this might be true. But 1/4 of our $40T debt is associated with the subsequent wars. And I'd argue it was the inflection point of US decline.
So many books on drawing... but I don't hardly draw anymore... and the most progress I EVER made learning to draw was made by just... DOING... Books on animating... Books on electronics... Furry art... that I'd need a mansion to have walls enough to display... Plush animals... .. and then......
There are times when I realize just how crapped up my life has got with STUFF....... Things that serve no purpose but for the fleeting moment of happiness when you bought it. The more shit you have... the less important any one thing becomes... till you reach a point its all just in your way. 😖
Its sad that lately all I have to do is walk outside to go to my shop building to be reminded daily how we are FUCKING DESTROYING THIS PLANET........ ... No flying insects...... none.... My car windshield.. one week to the next, mmmmaybe one bug splat. We are destroying ourselves. AND---
