My Rats Eat Better Than Me 🍲🐀 Final Update. I wanted to close this 🧵 with a video that included all 7 of my babies. It's from summer '24, and I think they were having mixed grains, onion or zucchini, peas and turmeric. They were all alive and healthy: Frenchie, Samba, Jim, Lulu, Stede, Eddie, Izzy.

The little blanket we wrapped around all of our ratties as they went to the cremation service went missing. The clinic keeps telling me Frenchie had the blanket with him when they came to get him, and the cremation service is saying that he didn't have it with him when they came to get him. Great.
Frenchie is gone. We helped him cross the rainbow bridge on Monday night when it was clear his conditions were going to worsen very fast. Our sweet, soft baby boy is with all his brothers now.
Tonight me and sis will discuss whether it's time to let Frenchie go. The pituitary tumor symptoms have been worsening quicker and quicker this past couple of weeks and we don't want it to get too bad. I'm so tired...
At 2 am last night it was 27C in the middle of the countryside, that was a bit insane
All went well and 10+ hours of waiting in line paid off--first row on an amazing live show 🥹💕

my brother & his partner are telling me an insane story about this local deity called "st. rat" which is apparently a mosaic relief put up by some queers in seattle. the city kept trying to paint over it, but people would repeatedly just use acetone and remove the paint until the city gave up
