Just heard on local news, BBC Cumbria. No offence recorded as an HGV drove towards pro Palestinian protesters blockading a factory making parts for F35s. A policeman was seen waving the driver on towards the entrance. No misconduct. Couldn't find confirmation. If anybody can, I would appreciate
BBC local radio are doing a long bit bemoaning the impact of the £0.50 increase in minimum wage on businesses. They do mention, almost in passing, the other increases in costs for businesses but the focus is on the minimum wage increase. For a standard full time job, it's worth £18.75 per week.
Despite using an AI blocker extension google search started serving up AI slop again so I switched to DuckDuckGo and send feedback to Google saying I would not be using Google search again until they stop using AI. If you stop using google search because of the AI, do let them know.
