Huh. After Israel destroyed Gaza's sewage treatment systems, raw sewage flows from Gaza into the Mediterranean. That, in turn, has created a water crisis in Israel because the Gaza sewage has created a giant, toxic algal bloom which just shut down 5 out of 6 of Israel's water desalinization plants.
Usually, when a disease is “endemic” countries have long standing plans to battle them. Targets, including zero targets. Now, we use the word to pretend we can ignore something.  Yet another way COVID-19 is an exceptional disease.

To make matters worse Scope have been systematically shutting group homes (Which is where HACSU members work and where NDIS participants live) and they are proposing to sell off all of the buses at the homes for profit (which were given to them by the Victorian State government)

PROPOSAL: We should stop saying “frontier AI models”, because that’s so obviously just spin from an industry trying to frame themselves as bold pioneers rather then reckless tinkerers. Instead we should say “untested” or “unproven” or “experimental” or the like.
