As much as the constant deluge of Mario sports games that feature the Kongs sometimes washes away my ability to care, this was where the seeds planted for Dixie from 2004 to 2005 (after her seven-year absence) truly began to sprout. Here she was, the inarguable tritagonist of the Donkey Kong series.

You might famously know it for including the three main Kong heroes as playable characters. DK, Diddy, & DIXIE. That was the reason I got the game (being into basketball at the time and this felt like the basketball game for me).😁
