One of the bleakest things I’ve seen in a while and I live in the year 2026! Remarkable film. Disturbs in ways more common in novels. Pinpoints issues that have only gotten worse since it was made… (Not enough space for the list of trigger warnings, so maybe read up on it before taking a look)

Revisited a favorite Schrader last night: PATTY HEARST. Takeaways: Bojan Bazelli…Such a bold, underrated DP. Look up his work and you’ll go “Ohhhhh” Natasha Richardson…absolutely jaw dropping skills on display. What a loss. Dark subject but…a biting, absurd sense of humor underneath it all.
