This month, we published another article revealing that MSG kept a database of VIP event attendees, labeling some of them as LGBTQIA and assigning a “risk score” to others. This is also now free to read:

Madison Square Garden Kept a List of Gay Celebrities

An MSG database tracked and categorized hundreds of celebs, famous Knicks superfans, and even some of Taylor Swift’s wedding guests. Labels included “LGBTQIA,” “DO NOT HOST,” and low to high “risk.”

Yesterday, WIRED learned that Madison Square Garden was suing us for our accurate reporting. We stand by our work. That’s why we’re removing the paywall from two of the MSG stories they don’t want you to read, making them free for everyone.

hello, last year an academic engineering reviewer said my developer open science project on identity threat and belonging was "too much psychology for a software audience" and now my ebook is a #1 seller in COMPUTERS POST ARMY RISE

a screenshot of the kobo ebook platform shows the psychology of software teams (preorder) is at the top of the list of "bestsellers" in "computers ebooks"

Hey did y'all know that the Kubecon Program Committee's scoring rubric is public for you to see before you submit a talk, and that reviewers are specifically instructed to give one star for content and originality if the submission is clearly AI slop? Just something to think about for next year. :)

The past years have seen horrendous attacks towards trans people. We have a duty to protect the most vulnerable members of our communities. There is no Haskell without the trans people who have shaped it through the years. This June is a month of celebrations, but the struggle continues. ✊🏳️‍⚧️λ

The rainbow is here all year long, so we don't need to change the profile for June. But it is a good time to remind everyone that LGBTQIA+ rights are under attack all year long as well. And to steal @haskell.org's message: there would be no Gleam without trans people 🩵🩷🤍
