Great News! Mercosur will be referred to ECJ 🙌🏻

The @left.eu inspired iniatiative to send the proposed #MERCOSUR agreement to the ECJ has just succeeded by 334 votes to 324 votes in the EU Parliament. A great victory for farmers and the Left. Other will try to take credit for it but the truth is the truth. We led. Others followed.

Ursula von der Leyen's second mandate has been approved by MEPs in Strasbourg by a majority of 370 votes in favour to 282 against.

We need a left government that'll take transformative action. We need to take on the interests of those who profit from the crises we face. We need a left government that governs in the interest of ordinary people, not in the interests of the few profiting from people's misery!

Heading to Strasbourg to vote down Ursula von der Leyen, commission designate. Anyone who supports Von Der Leyen is supporting genocide in Palestine. They're also supporting a commission hell bent on signing up to MERCOSUR. Shame on Irish MEPs who support this.
