The Library is celebrating Roses 2026 by displaying a selection of rare items from Special Collections and Archives. This public exhibition tells the story of the Wars of the Roses (1455-1487), the medieval contest between Lancaster and York. You can find this exhibition in the Library entrance.

To commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day, the Library is exhibiting 10 contemporary objects from The Holocaust which reflect the stages of genocide. There is also a satellite display located in the Chaplaincy Centre. The exhibitions will be in place from the 26th January - 5th February.
