I've been making changes in my personal life that I haven't spoken very publicly on, but one thing I do want to be public is that my close friends call me Bea now. And if any of you want to call me Bea or B, that would make me very happy. <3 But no pressure, I won't be upset if I hear Martin.

Most abusers are not abusive all the time. They can be charming and charismatic and can present as devoted, especially when in front of witnesses. Victims often tell ourselves that the caring persona is the *real* person and the abuse is some atypical behavior that will stop if we are loving enough.

There are still tons of people who ask why victims stay in abusive relationships and use that line of thinking to attack and undermine the credibility of victims. The actual mechanism of coercive control is still so misunderstood by the public—a victim staying actually makes perfect sense.

Far too often recently I've seen people insist that the artist's intention is all that matters. "Why are you using that song for this character? The song is about (very specific personal reason for the musical artist), it doesn't apply" But songs, poems, stories, etc do not mean just one thing.

Creators will get called out for not doing "enough" with their channels even if they're spreading awareness for a cause, educating on where to get involved, literally fundraising for charity, meanwhile said callout account does nothing but spread hostility like a gossip rag.

If the only thing you ever post on your platform is callouts of how other creators are performative I have some news for you and its called you aren't exactly doing anything productive either.

At the end of the day, Elon Musk literally wields X as his own personal propaganda machine. We KNOW he prioritizes specific accounts and artificially inflates their reach for his own political/personal gain. Posting on there does unfortunately help him in that mission

It's been said by others, but one of the things that I find most tragic about techbros is that they are ruining public perceptions of technology as a whole. Tech can be and has been a liberatory, fun world. It doesn't have to be destructive to the environment or leveraged for fascism. It's sad!

Saw a “leftist” on here say that despite their friends with kids saying they’re happy, their lives have actually been ruined by their kids and so they must be secretly lying about it… Like, you’re not less of a bigot because the group of vulnerable people you hate are children. 😩

Ugh, this is actually sickening. I found out that a website used my voice to create an AI voice soundboard thing where people can generate words using the likeness of my voice. They linked it to my twitch. I found that other people are on here too. I submit a takedown request, but this is so gross
