i wrote 3194 words today! happy to be productive. seems the coffee and dad rock worked. been listening to Creed a lot lately and they're honestly a really great band. i'd forgotten how pleasant they were.

Thank you all. First half of Rent paid and huge Flex Loan I took out last month to make everything work got repaid. Unfortunately, I am now at -.04 in my bank account. I COULD just turn around and take that Loan back out, I don't want to because then in a month Im scrambling again. CAPITALISM!

Everyone on this planet deserves safe and comfortable housing, clean water, fresh and nutritious food, and top-notch health care for when they are sick or injured. Call that whatever you want. Label it whatever you like. I'm for it and I'm never shutting up about it.

i wrote 2595 words today! happy to be productive when i spent much of the day lounging around and watching Star Trek for inspiration.

listening to 00s dad rock and trying to get into the writing mood. a lot of these songs i was actively repelled by when i was younger, but now they're very comforting and nostalgic. music absolutely transports you to another time. i think that's pretty miraculous.

Don't quote me on this in like 10 years but I think one of the defining issues of the 2020s is "a better world is actually very easy to achieve, the powers that be are just not interested in achieving it."
