Saw a disoriented and downed black and white warbler on the MD Ave bridge near MICA, but it flew away as I approached it. So sad. Be on the lookout if you’re in the area, I’ll take it to the animal hospital if anyone can contain it.

Birch tree migrants update: yellow-dumped (keeping that typo) warbs and RC kinglets continuing. Both venture out into the garden beds for variety! Common Yellowthroat female also throughly inspecting the patio bed with asters, penstemon and swamp sunflowers.

Birch tree is LIT again today. Finally got to observe long enough to ID 2 cape may warbs and 2 ruby crowned kinglets all chasing each other so fast! Also a house wren and downy but they seemed to get annoyed and flew away. kinglets been here all week but mostly sticking to neighbor’s spruce
