Not sure what it says about the state of the economy or the supply chain but this tin of tomatoes had a HARD life on its way to our delivery.
Total silence in our street. No cheers. No beeping horns. No spilling out of the pub waving bunting. Can almost feel the deflation. #engarg
Gooaaallll... and now both sides will have to play #engarg
So Farage is so dissed by the media that BBC 5Live has cleared a slot for him to broadcast any tripe he wants. This statement is an extended party political broadcast.

Starmer has ‘full confidence’ in Streeting despite allies saying he is planning to resign – UK politics live

Reports that Steeting is going to resign and challenge Starmer. Sure it's not the first thing on people's minds, but this would trigger the appt of the eighth health and social care sec in eight years Good job the NHS and public health aren't important to the country or voters...
There is a cherry tree at the end of my street. For most of the year, it's a scrubby thing, struggling for space and water on the roadside. For ten days, it's a gorgeous mass of blossoms. Here it is being gorgeous.
Some personal news. Nine months after the hip op, I'm up and running again (literally).
Physio to five K
Achieved something of a milestone in recovering from the left hip replacement recently. A 30 minute run, and then a 5k race. A lot of the badly photocopied sheets you get given after a hip op (or find online) say running is out. But it's an item on the Oxford Hip Score, so I figure it's fine, with suitable preparation. And I did a LOT of physio, PT, and light lifting before starting the NHS/BBC Couch to 5k alongside a Coached to 5k course at New Energy Fitness in Winchester.

What version of Microsoft Windows is powering this bus display? (Nothing released this century, I'd guess).
Not exactly Tokyo. But our scrubby local cherry tree is doing its thing for two days #CherryBlossom.
