The National Glass Centre in Sunderland closed today, ending 1400 years of glassmaking on Wearside. As well as sadness that a precious cultural jewel has shuttered, there’s fury that a building less than thirty years old was allowed to fall into staggering disrepair to benefit a land sale. Corrupt.
Phew. That was a manic half hour. Someone decided to try and treat themselves to some gold on some Russian website using my debit card. How kind of me. Unlucky for them they picked the one card that had no money on it. Losers. Curious how they got the details for it, though.
I gave into curiosity and got the banana latte from Starbucks. It’s not completely terrible, but wouldn’t get it again.
Decided to have another go at TooGoodToGo after having some really bad ones in the past. Spotted the local Auntie Annie’s on there for £5. Not a bad bag I don’t think!
If you like spy / espionage with a bit of comedy, I can really recommend Ride or Die on Prime.
