There should be no double standard about holding ALL politicians to the same rules and laws as Traitor Trump. It's unreal how all of his many sins and crimes are ignored by the powers that be. It has to end. He must be stopped.
Nearly every one of El-Sayed's issue positions is supported by a majority. In fact, his stands are the center of American politics today. Saying he is far left/left wing is just so old. The center of American politics has moved over the last 30 years, and El-Sayed's position are center now.
On a private call, Todd Blanche said his goal was to make the "Dobbs decision permanent in every single state." This isn’t just a confirmation vote anymore—it’s a roll-call vote on which Senators endorse BANNING abortion in ALL 50 states. I’m voting NO.
So now the next step is to find out what Capital One's months-long anti-money laundering review by professionals with decades of law enforcement experience discovered about Trump's 300+ accounts...
Phang: "Capital One said, 'We don't want the business anymore of the 45th president of the United States, his businesses, his failed sons, and his revocable trust.' So you can imagine -- I am just hypothesizing... but it suggests whatever Capital One uncovered was pretty bad. Makes you wonder..."
The fact that the Democratic senators are agreeing to a continuing resolution until Dec 11th with NO compromises for them is absolute political malpractice and head scratching. Why not even try to ban like…. The arch? Anything!
And the fact El-Sayed was outspent nearly ten to one by SuperPacs shows how good of a candidate he is and how quality of a communicator he is. Candidates of strength/passion/clarity is what is making a difference.
Michigan Senate Dem primary yesterday again demonstrated the most important factors in competitive races are quality of candidate/communication ability and being strong and clear as the person of change (not establishment/status quo). Michigan primary results were not fundamentally about ideology.
Face it. The Court is captured by right-wing billionaire interests, just the way railroad barons used to capture the railroad rate commissions, or mining barons the mine safety commissions. Look up “regulatory capture” or “agency capture.” thehill.com/opinion/judi...
Just admit it: The Supreme Court is political
Let’s face it, the Supreme Court has dug itself into a hole, and it just keeps digging.

H/t to @hcrichardson.bsky.social for reminding me of this article by @natashabertrand.bsky.social in @theatlantic.com documenting how Trump's purge of the DOJ and FBI in his first term focused on experts in money laundering and organized crime. www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...
Trump’s Top Targets in the Russia Probe Are Experts in Organized Crime
Some of President Trump’s favorite targets in the Russia probe have spent their careers in the Justice Department and the FBI investigating organized crime and money laundering, particularly as they p...

Call your Senators and let them know to BLOCK BLANCHE. He's coming for your reproductive rights.
@katiephang.bsky.social lays out how nominee for AG Todd Blanche is saying the quiet part out loud: The Trump admin will use every lever they can to restrict abortion, in every state. Call your Senators and tell them to vote NO on Blanche. 📞 888-380-2711 https://www.youtube.com/shorts/vXNF98NXAjg
He won against $70 MILLION dollars. We won. In Michigan. This is a way bigger deal than any MSM is going to tell you. Celebrate. And let's get AES ready for November. Rogers lost to Slotkin. He can lose to Abdul.
El-Sayed: "My commitment to Jewish safety is the same commitment that I have to the safety of my own daughters. Because if there is one question of political philosophy that ought to animate us all, it's what would we do if we treated all our kids like they were all of our kids?"
The United States Treasury: An ATM for the Rich and Powerful
Excellent. May more Attorneys General follow suit.
BREAKING: The New Mexico Department of Justice has sued Acting AG Todd Blanche and the DOJ, requesting the court for access to unredacted Epstein-related investigative files that the DOJ has been withholding.
A gracious concession: “I want to congratulate Abdul El-Sayed on winning the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate. He is a doctor, a community health official, a Rhodes Scholar, and a dedicated Michigander. I am proud to offer my support as he takes on Mike Rogers in the general election…
Congratulations. #UniversalHealthcare www.theguardian.com/us-news/live...

📌Susan Collins is voting "no" on the repulsive Blanche because she has been given political cover by Thune. Her vote doesn't matter. This isn't a heroic decision, it is pure politics, and whether anybody wants to admit it or not it's how she has survived like a parasite in that chamber for 30 years.
A new Senate investigation says JPMorgan, Deutsche Bank and Bank of America processed massive sums tied to Jeffrey Epstein despite glaring red flags. Powerful institutions helped keep his operation running and every one of them must be held accountable. Follow the money, release everything.
We can have good things--and no, I do not have school age children.
Today, for the first time in New York City history, 2,000 two year-olds received offers for FREE 2-K. A big step for those who take baby steps. A big step towards a City every New Yorker can afford.
Microsoft: $101 BILLION in profits. $12.5 BILLION in tax breaks. $176 BILLION in stock buybacks. 4,800 workers fired this week. 9,000 workers fired last year. Please don't tell me trickle-down economics works. It never did. Nothing trickles down.
I prefer presidents who don’t have their accounts closed over money laundering concerns.
