Actor teacher writer Accidentally Brave person

We can't allow ourselves to become numb to mass shootings. What happened today in Minneapolis is heartbreaking, and Michelle and I are praying for the parents who have lost a child or will be sitting at their hospital bedside after yet another act of unspeakable, unnecessary violence.

i dont post here much... but i'm popping on to say that women are amazing. I hear the stories. I hear the secrets. I hold those stories and secrets and I am humbled by the women who step up and take care of their people.

While in Richmond, VA, last month I picked up the DVD set of All-American Girl. This still, from the pilot episode that aired in 1994, is so 90s. Floral print dresses? Check. Sunflowers? Check. Chokers? Check. All that's missing is Jonathan Taylor Thomas.

Margaret Cho, a Korean woman in her early 20s with dark hair wearing a dark print dress, and Maddie Corman, a young white woman with blond hair and wearing a white, pink, and black floral dress, stand in front of an Elizabeth Arden makeup counter in a department store. Margaret has her arms clasped in front of her and looks offscreen longingly. Maddie is also looking offscreen with a mixture of desire and frustration.

On this #TVoD, I'm going to reiterate this because it's incredibly important for younger people (and those who were never interested before) to understand how our gains happened and what is at risk as they try to turn the clocks back on our rights. When We Rise, a mini series aired on ABC in 2017.

People, especially younger people, should watch this. I don’t think most of you all understand what we’re up against. Also, it goes into some protest protocol. m.imdb.com/title/tt5292...
