Holy shit... what is WRONG with them? Its so uncanny. I have legit seen terrible CGI and puppetry that seems more human than the way they are moving and talking. I've seen more believable AI.

People as a whole just cant be happy without making mountains out of mole hills, finding something new to bitch about every couple years, or hating something that just slightly perturbs them. Smith was right. People just have an aversion to trying to be happy.

do not abandon your streamers. your time watching is more valuable to most streamers than anything else, if you don't want to give money to twitch you don't have to. look for your streamers alternative support methods. if you want them to make content, they need you there.
Twitch's "Allow your channel content to train generative AI models" setting is here and on by default. Go turn that shit off, streamer!! The toggle is under your Settings, then 'Security and Privacy'

Zach Bussey 🍁@zachbussey.tos.gg · 5d agoTwitch isn't making Gen AI training *opt-in* because no one would voluntarily choose to opt in. Instead, they are offering an opt-out option.
I will be moving more and more to joystick in the future. Not all streams will be lewd. But still, I wont be using twitch by this time next year.
bͭaͥᵍeͤlͬ Joy@bageltiger.bsky.social · 5d agoHey so Amazon is shoving AI training down Twitch’s throat which means your account, vods and streams are opted in by default. You can opt out by accessing www.twitch.tv/settings/sec... and turning the option off.
