APPARENTLY IT'S HOTTER THAN GREECE LISA! Hello! Chef. Leftie. Hammer. Skater. Sussex by the sea. No Terfs/Transphobes please. She/her. Also not so recently single. Form a queue, lads.

Son locked his key in his room this morning. We got another but it only worked once. We got another. Son locks it in his room again this afternoon. I go and get him another. I ask for the wrong room. I have to go back for another 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Last night I dreamt that I wrote a book about someone doing animal autopsies on a space ship and it was a massive hit and optioned for a film. *gets pen and paper out* "Edie had always loved dissecting dead animals...."

I'm reading a book which is narrated by 2 women but actually written by a man. It's actually a really good book but there have been a couple of times where I've just thought "No. That woman wouldn't think that" I'm sure it goes both ways, it's just a bit annoying, a glitch in the matrix.

My niece has a new boyfriend. Now I'm very protective of my nibblings. I had to make sure he was worthy of her so I made him sit through a 70s video of Xanadu by #Rushtheband. He managed about 5 minutes. Not bad for a first time. I'll let him stay.

This year I am getting 3 grandchildren. One, Indie, a mixed breed rescue, has already arrived. Daphne, a miniature dashund, is still with her mum, and so is the unnamed kitten. Best kind of grandchildren imo. Anyway this is Indie and Daphne.

A small brown and white dog, Indie, standing on snow. A tiny black dog, Daphne, sitting in a basket and looking very cute.
