we have to think about how we call out hateful folks who say hateful shit because It Happened Again: a small vtuber with struggling numbers went on a transphobic screed, was justifiably called out, and then was immediately elevated by the rightwing chudtubers on X and their viewership went up 10x
Forcing AI on everyone, hoping they'll just give up and accept it, instead creating a hostile environment where Twitch's own streamers are now drawing attention to the issue and radicalizing their audiences. Mad funny how that worked out.

With Twitch's AI update ( That you should opt out of immediately by scrolling to the bottom at - www.twitch.tv/settings/sec... ) it means if a streamer you follow hasn't turned it off it'll be scraping chat for all messages, even if YOU have opted out, it defaults to the channel owners settings.
