Overeducated and unrepentant whore who talks far too much and writes the popular blog The Honest Courtesan in addition to the usual harlotry.

WIRED has a long, long history of misogynistic articles; some of y'all may remember their string of anti-sex work articles about 15 years ago.

Ok what the actual fuck, @wired.com!!!! Calling perimenopause a “buzzword” is wild, misogynist work that minimizes a decades long feminist movement to raise awareness about women’s health This article could have been good but instead is … very very bad

America is also home to the greatest, country-sized modern experiment on the power of absurdist propaganda. And the reseluts are that it doesn't really take much to indoctrinate a sizeable chunk of the population with the most absurd beliefs.

NEW Economist/YouGov Aug 28-31: Canada 38% of Republicans view Canada as unfriendly or an enemy of the U.S., by far the highest level in the past decade yougov.com/en-us/articl...

A chart of YouGov polling data with the headline: "A growing share of Republicans
view Canada as unfriendly or an enemy of the U.S.."

The chart's sub-headline is: "Do you consider the following to be an ally or an enemy of the United States? Canada (% who say "unfriendly" or "enemy")."

The chart has the note: "Note: Responses of "ally," "friendly," and "not sure" are not shown."

Seems like it would be pretty easy for governments to make companies stop lying to consumers to trick them into thinking they're buying things they aren't buying. When you hit "buy" or "purchase," it should mean that. If you're renting/licensing something, then it should say "rent" or "license."

There has been, rightfully, a lot of angst about ICE buying robot dogs and shock gloves. There is not NEARLY enough outrage about the massive detention apparatus they are building out, or the inexperienced contractors "checking in" on migrant children, or collecting fines in foreign countries, etc.

I am a tech nerd and I’m increasingly moving to other hobbies because the ecosystem is getting more and more poisoned by these sociopathic weirdos. SV is becoming a cult. You’re not making our lives better or easier. You’re hoarding wealth. You believe in a fantasy and will drag us down with you

You broke the internet and every single thing your execs say is worthy of an ass beating. It’s not even just about AI, your entire industry is full of drug addict freaks who think they’re going to live forever in space and who think they are more evolved than us. Quite literally

Making local officials sign NDAs, steamrolling some small town city council with your team of lawyers, you knew what the fuck you were doing so deal with the consequences. Me and my friends will kill Glonzo with hammers I tell you that much

I am nearly always a “it’s important to get things right and understand the facts and how things work” but sometimes it’s just “fuck these guys”. Shouldn’t have crammed this shit down our throats and broke the law trying to power them, while all of your execs are the antichrist

I am perfectly open to the idea that some of the data center panic is overblown, what I am telling u is I don’t care

Just an immediate lie bc a very impactful gene variant linked to severe neurodevelopmental challenges, CNTNAP2, was specifically and originally discovered in Amish communities Eg: Gene associated with seizures, autism, and hepatomegaly in an Amish girl - PubMed pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19302947/

More unscientific US presidential babble and disinformation. Is it purposely made to hurt people, to hurt science, or both? The common claim that the Amish have "no autism" is not supported by the evidence. www.statnews.com/202... 1/2
