Well… you may have blinked and missed it but Arsenal fans certainly did not. It felt like a lifetime.
How many players could be out with ankle ligament damage for two months and reappear as if we blinked and missed it? Either Martin Odegaard is tricking the footballing world or he really did just respawn for Arsenal without skipping a beat. 🔗 bit.ly/41daHW2
Anyone else excited for a couple of seasons of Arsenal v Liverpool for the title? After 35 years, I am!
The below was mostly without Ø, Timber at RB, Calafiori at LB. The 3 keys to our creativity. All 3 come back in and Arsenal go wallop the most in-form team in Europe 5-1 away from home. It’s good Liverpool got a big headstart. It will make the league more interesting. Credit @markstats.club

@scott.cannonstats.com I think I’ve seen you post transfer fee analysis in the past that factors in inflation. If so, you use CIES as a source for rate of inflation in fees (see below) or something else? football-observatory.com/Inflation-in...

Arteta talked about the build-up to this game and says it was the first time in weeks they could train with 19 players.
Apparently I’m both a dick and a magic tw*t. So when they tell me to go f*ck myself… they really just want me to have a good time 😉

Arsenal should be going after Rico Lewis this summer if Hato is off the table.

The PL has effectively bought time here… to stop Man City securing a monsterously inflated sponsorship deal that could not be stopped, which could keep it alive even without PL income.

For any Arsenal fans out there and was wondering how today’s vote effect the club. Arsenal took the shareholder loans between summer 2020 and summer 2021. So before the December 14th 2021 rule change. Arsenal already pays FMV interest under UEFA rules. 1/2
Ok… sonwho wants a mega thread on the implications of today’s PL vote on APTs and the changes voted in… including how it impacts City’s 130?
Wow. The PL convinced the clubs with S/H loans to convert to equity. Including Everton. Brighton… This was big
Premier League passes APT rules despite opposition from 4 clubs. Manchester City did not get the support it wanted to oppose the new rule changes. Significant moment for PL’s rules. Chelsea and Man Utd officials spoke up in favour of the rules before vote. Nobody spoke up against them at meeting.
And now the APT vote has gone against City. Tick tock…
